About the Author

Bill Hatting

Hailing from Seattle's rain-soaked glory, Bill Hatting turned his knack for spinning tales from "just surviving" to "literary thriving." His first book, Street Souls, does what all good stories do: drop you in the thick of it—this time, into Bill's own homeless adventures. Thanks to a nudge from a buddy, what started as "campfire tales" is now bookstore gold.

Bill's been crafting stories since he could talk, turning every move (and there were many—thanks, nomad childhood!) into epic lore. From dodging educational curveballs across continents to navigating the aerospace world with logistic wizardry, Bill's life reads like a Netflix series waiting to happen.

Post-retirement, Bill swapped logistics for linguistics, making his writing hobby numero uno. He's the living proof that everyone has a story to tell, especially those who've built "useless" wooden contraptions or found themselves discussing the finer points of art and literature with their spouse, Cynthia, in their California home. Bill's journey: from street to sheet to elite, one word at a time.
